Doug Freeman, Administration & Communications Manager (he/him)

Doug grew up in New England and relocated to the Twin Cities in 2006 after a sojourn in North Carolina. Shortly after moving to Minnesota, he joined the administrative staff at Plymouth Congregational Church and discovered he is drawn to supporting communities that work to make the world better for all people. He is very pleased to be able to continue that work at St. Luke Presbyterian!

Beyond his time at the office, Doug enjoys singing-acting (often with the Gilbert & Sullivan Very Light Opera Company). He loves to travel and explore new places—the photo is from a trip to Iceland in May 2024. The picture also shows his (occasionally used) crafting abilities: the hat is one he knit.

Doug and his partner, Erik, gather regularly with friends for games of all sorts: cards, board games, and Dungeons & Dragons. They live in Plymouth with their young cats, Nutmeg and Zoe, and he will show you far too many pictures of them if you ask!
