Full Time Head of Staff
Description:
The new St. Luke Head staff will be a solo pastor responsible for leading the Minister of Music & Worship and the Communications Manager with a commitment to collaboration and empowerment. The new pastor will be expected to:
Provide thought-provoking, inspirational, and challenging sermons consistent with St. Luke's progressive theological values
Lead innovative, energizing, joyful, and relevant worship experiences
Provide leadership for social justice activities
Devise and pursue strategies to attract new members
Empower and train staff and laity to fulfill the goals of the church
Nurture intergenerational activities
Coordinate pastoral care
Minimum salary - $82,000 including housing allowance.
Requirements:
Inspirational preacher
Committed to progressive liberation theology
Inclusive style - comfortable with diversity of all kinds
Strong organizational skills with ability to delegate and prioritize
Effective boundary management
Relates well with children and youth
Excellent written and spoken communication
