/Black History Month
Our church library has books and videos for all ages about the civil rights movement and its history, as well as biographies about people such as Martin Luther King, Jr., Ruby Bridges, Rosa Parks, Maya Angelou, Harriet Tubman, Richard Wright, Thurgood Marshall, Langston Hughes, Medgar Evers, and SojournerTruth. Here is the link to St. Luke Library’s Black History Month web page, where you can see a list of titles and a PDF that you can download and print. Paper copies of this handout are also available on the library counter.
Check out is for three weeks--just sign the library card and put it in the little black caddy on the counter. And then please return the item to the black bin just inside the library door.
