We’ve made it to our goal and beyond!  Together, we’ve raised over $65k (and counting) to knock out the smaller of our two mortgages.  Every dollar above our original $60k goal will now be split 50/50 between outbound mission giving and paying down our larger remaining mortgage.  If you have not had the pleasure of joining the fun, there’s still time join your contribution to pot.  It’s a wonderful chance to give to a now guaranteed success! 

We will have a Mortgage Burning BBQ celebration on Wednesday, June 19 at St. Luke with music from the folk band and home-smoked meat from Brennan.  The event is free, but please consider bringing a side, salad or dessert if you can.  Bring a lawn or camping chair!  We’ll gather ‘round St. Luke’s “backyard” (the east end green space with the children’s playground).  Food and fun begin as early as 5:45 pm, so come early, come late, come whenever you can for this easy communal celebration.  And, YES, we will have our very own Don Davies burning a copy of our mortgage to celebrate our achievement.
