Hsu-hui Wang - Director of Music
|
Hsu-hui Wang (pronounced Shoo way) has been Director of Music at St. Luke since August of 2007. A native of Taiwan, she came to the US for college, along with her youngest brother, in 1995. She has a Bachelor of Music from the Presbyterian Church Bible College in Taiwan and a Masters of Music from University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa. In addition to her work at St. Luke, she tutors students in piano, flute, trumpet, saxophone, trombone, and baritone. Biking, gardening and cooking are her hobbies. Hsu-hui and her husband, Eric Moen, also enjoy hiking, live theater, and playing music together (he on sax and she on piano). Her stepson Eric Jr. and their cat, Frankie are their primary audience at home. English is Hsu-hui's 3rd language. So if you know Taiwanese or Mandarin Chinese, she would enjoy a conversation with you. If not, come hear the beautiful music she brings out of the St. Luke Choir.
